The Supreme Court has given a huge blow to the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh. The Supreme Court has said that there is no need for shopkeepers to use their names and identities, shopkeepers will only have to tell the types of food. The court has given an interim order regarding this. In this regard, the court has issued a notice to the governments of UP, MP and Uttarakhand and sought a reply. Now the next hearing in this case will be on July 26.
Meanwhile, the Kanwariyas going to collect water in the Kanwad Yatra say that CM Yogi had done a great job for us. But, the Supreme Court banned it. The Kanwariyas said that now how will we know that the food we ate was non-vegetarian from the hotel, if we are given food after washing it in the same vessel, then our religion will be corrupted. Along with that, our water will also be polluted.
Kanwadis say that the Supreme Court has done a big mistake. Because it will not be known at all whether this is a veg hotel or a non-veg one. How will it be known? Because the Dhaba will be running in the name of a Muslim. This will cause a lot of problems.
The devotees going to collect water said that if the dhaba or shop had a name plate, it would have been easy to identify whether it is veg or non-veg. Because, we bring water from Haridwar to offer to Baba Bholenath, in such a situation, if we accidentally go to a non-veg shop, it would be a big sin.
The devotees said that UP CM Yogi Adityanath had done a very good job because the water that they take from Haridwar is the holy water of Ganga Mai and that too will be offered to Lord Shankar i.e. Shivling on Shivratri. If we accidentally eat non-veg in a hotel on the way and are given food in the same vessel after washing it, then we will suffer a great loss. This will make our water impure and our worship will also be disrupted.
Meanwhile, the Kanwariyas opposed the Supreme Court’s order and said that it was very wrong. Because the arrangements made by Yogi Adityanath were very good. We thank CM Yogi for this, but the Supreme Court has not taken the right decision by putting a stay on this order.
A two-judge bench of Justices Hrishikesh Roy and SVN Bhatti was hearing the petitions related to this case. The bench said, “Respecting this deliberation, we feel that it would be appropriate to issue an interim order prohibiting such activities. In other words, food-sellers (including dhaba owners, restaurant owners, shops, fruit and vegetable vendors) can be asked to display what they are serving, but they should not be forced to reveal the identity of the owner and employees.
